Workshops

Rosa Rebecka’s teaching style is friendly and passionate, and her repertoire for groups includes traditional songs from England and around the world - not leastwise Sweden! - as well as especially composed pieces.

Finding Your Voice

Friendly sessions for complete beginners and experienced singers alike. A session contains easy, inclusive rounds and harmony singing. This can be a session or a series of sessions. It is especially suited for festivals and events.

Developing Your Singing

This weekly one-term course for mixed groups is for more in-depth learning, and covers many areas, including ‘singing technique’, ‘interpretation’, ‘the rhythmic voice’ and ‘free group improvisation’. It is especially suited for concentrated learning environments, and Rebecka has been taught at the University of Plymouth and Plymouth Marjon University.

Choirs

For those wanting to create a group with a long-term commitment, a regular choir enjoys a constantly growing repertoire for enjoyment and performances. Rebecka currently runs Voices In Common North Devon Folk Choir for Wren Music on Thursday evenings at Quince’s Honey Farm, Whiddon Wide choir at various Dartmoor churches, and the Swedish, Exeter-based singing group ExeSwedes.

Tuition

Rebecka gives tuition in singing technique, performance technique and composition for all ages and abilities. She offers both individual and small group lessons. Contact her for more details.
